Thanks in part to the Hadley Hope Fund and Phlebotomy services, researchers are very close to being able to diagnose NPC much much earlier, and want to include it in newborn screening. This is vitally important, as it would allow kids to begin treatments sooner, and thus giving them a chance of extending their lifespan.
The Hadley Hope Fund, and Phlembotomy Services of Medford, provided "control" blood samples to researchers, that was critical to advancing this research. Thank you to all of the kids and adults that agreed to give blood, and help us push research quicker!!
